Old World Golf. Legendary Rod Whitman Design...
Expansive dunes with rolling, tumbling fairways. Tour-tested and top rated. Wolf Creek Golf Resort has played host to many of Alberta's and Canada's most prestigious championships. Its legendary fairways and its masterful Rod Whitman design are highly acclaimed by amateurs and pros alike.

Where Canada Meets Scotland...
Back in the 1980s, Wolf Creek Golf Course became Rod Whitman's inaugural course design, while starting out on his own. Born in Ponoka Alberta, Rod created Wolf Creek's wondrous Old World Golf experience, which we believe rivals any Old World design on the planet.
Rod has also achieved the highest pinnacles of golf architecture internationally, having been recruited south of the border to utilize his design talents to create golf features from the natural geographic features at Erin Hills in the state of Wisconsin, host of the 2017 U.S. Open Championship.
Wolf Creek's Original Old Course's front nine began to transform, from an idea sketched out on the back of a napkin in the early 1980s, into a true Old World Golf experience. Upon opening, word started to spread quickly about this beautiful golf destination that resembled the historic courses of Scotland. Wolf Creek Golf Resort grew over the years and now features two 18-hole courses of pure inland links. Wolf has hosted multiple Opens and many high profile tournament championships over the years. The Calgary Herald says...
“Of course, like many Albertans, my favorite when it comes to local inland links, is the one and only Wolf Creek. The shaping on both courses is absolutely stunning.”
